About Us

The Danladi Yunana Foundation (DYF) is a registered charity (CAC No: RC–7645226) in Nigeria, headquartered in Jalingo, Taraba State. DYF is dedicated to uplifting young people from underserved communities who face systemic barriers to educational opportunities.

DYF draws inspiration from the remarkable journey of its founder, Dr. Danladi Yunana—who grew up in a low-income neighbourhood in Maiduguri, born to parents with no formal education. Against the odds, he went on to earn three academic degrees across three continents: Africa, Europe, and Australia. His story is a testament to the power of resilience, education, and hope.

Atuwase Abada - Yunana Aseibi Joint Scholarship (AA-YAS)

Awarded to students pursuing Mathematics and/or Statistics, with the aim of fostering interest and promoting excellence in these fields.
This joint award is established in 2023, in honor of Dr. Atuwase Abada, a renowned academic in the field of Mathematics at Taraba State University, Jalingo. The initiative seeks to promote greater interest and excellence in Mathematics and Statistics among students and young scholars.

Planned for launch in 2025, DASS will support students in science-related disciplines who are passionate about inspiring others to pursue STEM education. This program is designed to build a network of STEM ambassadors—young leaders who will champion innovation and ignite curiosity in classrooms and communities across Nigeria.
